Baby Hats

I have the cutest baby hat pattern. Its so easy I made it up myself! (that should tell you something)

Worked flat on US sizes 5 and 7 needles. I used Caron Simply Soft yarn.
Cast On 60 sts with smaller needles.
Work k2 p2 ribbing for ten rows.

Switch to bigger needles then knit one row purl one row until the peices measures 4in
Begin decrese!

Row 1: *k 5 k2tog* reapeat to end (there may be some left over sts at the end. I found this to be normal)
Row 2: Purl (all even rows)
Row3: *K4 k2tog* reapeat to end
Row 5: *k 3 k2tog* reapeat to end
Row 7: *k 2 k2tog* reapeat to end

Run yarn through the remaining sts and pull tight. Leave a tail long enough to sew up the hat. Then sew up the seam and work in your ends.

It also looks really nice if you use the seed stich rather than ribbing.

I have also found ways to change them up. I should have followed my origional plan and done 20 or 25 rows of the ribbing for this hat because its a little short now but it is still so sweet.
My goal it to make ten of them before I get totally sick of the pattern. I normally can't do the same pattern that many times in a row but I'm going to give it a shot. I will post the pictures when they are all done
